After nearly 2 1/2 months of waiting for my wood kit to arrive from Aircraft Spruce it finally arrived on 12/21/01. It was shipped on a freight truck in 2 boxes. It was hard to believe all the wood required fit in the small boxes. They were quite small. Only about 12"x8"x14'. The third box was a smaller package containing T-88 epoxy glue. My dad came over to help unload the truck and to help with inventory of the wood. I pulled out the materials list and compared it to what we now had on my garage floor. After about an hour or so we had accounted for pretty much every piece. There was a couple small inconsistencies between plans and what Aircraft Spruce had sent but so far it looks like only a handful of sticks are the only thing else needed to buy. The quality of the wood is spectacular. VERY clean. The grain is tight and not one flaw anywhere. Even the 15' spars are perfectly straight. No wonder this stuff is so expensive!
