DETAIL:

Spent the day working on odds and ends pertaining to the engine and wiring.  The major project of the day was removing the engine from the airframe so that I could finish welding up the engine mount.  The mount was only about 98% complete until now.  It lacked the gussets at some of the critical joints.

Once the mount was complete I put it back on the plane and put the engine back on.  It's a task that 2 men can just barely do by hand.  My dad came over and we lifted the engine off and then back onto the mount. At 215lb it's not super easy but not impossible either.

After the engine was back on I worked on some more wiring.  I wired the coils up to the points and installed the coil selector switches and wiring.  All of the wires are pretty much routed and installed so I decided to tie wrap and secure the wires.  Looks pretty good so far.
