I got the control stick and rudder
pedal assemblies back from the powder coat shop today. They did one coat
of metallic silver and one coat of clear. The finish is beautiful! A
very deep and very metallic finish. I spent the afternoon temporarily
installing the assemblies into the fuse. It's looking nice! The pictures below
show the bright shiny look.
On another note, an acquaintance of mine, Joe Carter, and his 16 yr old daughter were killed this past Saturday in his Fisher Celebrity biplane. Apparently one of the wings failed and his plane spun out of control. It's really sad because he was such a cool guy. It just goes to show you how quickly life can change for anyone.
