I purchased a spinner on ebay a couple weeks ago. I got a pretty good deal. Got an 8" spinner & pre-drilled front and rear bulkheads for $60. I had to cut the prop openings which proved to be a time consuming pain in the ass. I whittled away at the spinner little by little with a die grinder. When I got the opening to almost the shape I needed I finished it off with a dremel and medium grit sanding drum. I then verified that the spinner was properly positioned and straight and then drilled holes for AN3 panhead screws. I'll rivet some nutplates to the rear bulkhead next. |
