I built the seat back frames in the fuse today. A bit tricky because of compound angles but by just taking a little of with the disc sander at a time yielded good results. The front seat back frame is pretty much an "X". I notched each piece half way at the proper angle to make an interlocking "X". Again the compound angles made my brain work a bit harder but in the end the joints are good. I'm hoping to do the seat bottom frames next. You may have noticed I am leaving off the plywood sides for not. This makes it easier to install the small stuff inside the fuse. I can reach through the fuse to hold stuff, etc. When my control stick assembly, rudder cables, etc are installed I'll skin the sides. It probably made it easier to bend the sides when joining them together too. I'm waiting for some Okoume plywood to be shipped in. Aircraft ply is WAY too overpriced. It's sick how much a 4x4 sheet of 1/4" ply is!
