Today I made up the fuselage
gussets. I'm using 1/8" Birch ply. I made paper templates of the
gussets then traced them onto the plywood. I cut all of them for both
sides of the fuse.
Glued them up and clamped them overnight. Hoping to join fuselage sides within 2 weeks. I began framing up the right side while they were drying. The right side will contain a door for the front cockpit. It's just too damn hard to get in without the door if your over 6 feet tall. A picture below shows how I framed the door in.
