Finished horiz. stabilizer! Began milling parts for vertical

DETAIL:

Finished up the horizontal stabilizer.  Looks great! Just needs a finish sanding and varnished.

Started milling out the 1/8" dado's for the plywood plates where the hinges bolt through the rear spar of the vertical stab. I then drilled 1/4" holes into the spars where the plywood plates were. The holes are for the eyebolt hinges.

Here it is .... Finished!

Here you see the 1/8" deep x 2" long dado allowing for a 1/8" plywood 
plate to be flush mounted into the spar. This is where the 1/4" eyebolts
will bolt through the spar.  I used a laminate trimmer with a flute bit.
