Finished up bottom floor and installed L.G. brackets

DETAIL:

I finished up the floor.  I used a bearing flush cutter and router to trim off the extra material from the bottom.  After that I pulled out my right side landing gear brackets.  I bolted them to the landing gear vee and then placed the assembly onto the fuse.  The holes didn't quite line up with the longerons like they should so I put some filler blocks in the areas that needed more edge clearance.

I ordered some .75" x 1.25" .125 thickness 4130 rectangular bar that I'll use for the spreader bars.  Won't be able to do any more work on the landing gear until it arrives.

I also put another 2 coats of spar varnish in the cockpit area.  I'm sanding between coats with 120 grit paper.  I now have 4 coats of varnish inside and it's looking very nice!  Like a fine piece of furniture. I had originally intended on painting the interior a medium gray, but after seeing the wood glossed up with spar varnish, I just have to leave it alone.
