Built the spools and tray for the engine mount. Will be ordering some 3/4" .049 steel tube this week to finish up the engine mount. It was my first attempt at gas welding. Well.... not totally my first attempt as I did do some practice welds for about 30 minutes prior.
It turned out better than I thought it would.
Gas welding is not as hard as I suspected. I still need to learn more
about it, but I do have a tray that is airworthy and straight. |
